Who we are
PWF Platform is operated by [Company legal name], [Registered address] (“we”, “us”). You can reach us about privacy at [support@your-domain.com].
We play two different roles:
- For data about you as our customer (your account, payments, support messages) we are the controller.
- For the phone numbers you upload for checks, you are the controller and we act as your processor, following your instructions. See Numbers you upload.
Data we collect about you
- Account data — username, email address and your password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Balance and payment data — top-ups, amounts, dates, transaction references and the checks you paid for. Card or wallet details are handled by the payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- Usage data — the checks you run: service, number of lines, price, status and time.
- Support data — messages you send us through the chat or by email.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and logs of requests to our servers, used to keep the service running and secure.
- Visit statistics — which pages are viewed, the website or link tag that brought the visitor (for example Google or ?src=telegram), country, device type, operating system, browser and time on site. We do not store IP addresses for this: a visitor is counted with a one-way code that changes every day, so a visit cannot be traced back to a person. The first source you arrived from is saved with your account when you sign up.
Numbers you upload
When you start a check, we process the phone numbers in your file only to run that check and give you the results. We do not use them for our own purposes, do not combine them with other data and do not sell them.
- Files and results are deleted 7 days after the check finishes.
- Numbers are passed to the technical providers that perform the check and to no one else.
- You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process the numbers and for informing the people concerned where the law requires it.
If someone whose number was in your file contacts us about their data, we will forward the request to you as the controller, and help you answer it where we can.
Why we use your data
| Purpose | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Creating and running your account, running checks | Performance of our contract with you |
| Processing top-ups and keeping accounting records | Contract and legal obligation (tax and accounting law) |
| Answering support messages | Contract and our legitimate interest in helping customers |
| Preventing fraud, abuse and attacks; enforcing our Terms | Legitimate interest in keeping the service safe and lawful |
| Service emails (receipts, finished checks, changes to our terms) | Contract |
| Showing the latest orders notice on our website | Legitimate interest — see below |
| Newsletters and offers | Your consent, which you can withdraw at any time |
Latest orders notice
Our website shows a short notice of recent orders. It contains only a masked username (for example ah****3), the name of the service and how long ago the order was placed. It never shows your email, phone numbers, files, amounts or results.
You can switch this off at any time in your account settings, and your orders will no longer appear.
Transfers outside the EEA
Some of our providers, including the providers that perform number checks, are located outside the European Economic Area. When personal data is transferred there, we use safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.
How long we keep data
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Uploaded files and results | 7 days after the check finishes |
| Account data | While your account is open, then deleted within 30 days of closing |
| Payment and accounting records | As long as tax and accounting law requires |
| Support messages | 12 months after the conversation ends |
| Server and security logs | 90 days |
| Anonymous visit statistics | 13 months |
Security
We protect data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, restricted access for staff, and regular updates of our systems. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy;
- correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- delete your data, unless we must keep it by law;
- restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it.
To use these rights, write to [support@your-domain.com]. We answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work.
Children
PWF Platform is a business service for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data about children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our service or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell you by email or in your account.
